Duties/Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for software engineering positions.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements, technical skills, and team fit.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Utilize various recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.) to attract top talent.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruiting progress and metrics.

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, specifically in the technology sector, with a focus on software engineering in cloud environment roles.
  • Strong understanding of technical skills and software engineering principles.
  • Excellent sourcing skills, including the use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Silicon Valley job market and trends in the tech industry.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
